Well, he might not have six wings, but he must have had six pairs of hands to get so much work done while I was away…and for this he is an angel!  Zeca managed to get all the pieces cleaned, cut, and drilled for 3 benches, 3 tables, 8 stools and 30 mirrors.  We still need to assemble, sand, and finish everything but I think it will all be possible…I’ve never been so prepared for a show before…

 …and what a show it will be!  I had a meeting at OVO on the last day of my trip and Gerson wants all my sketches and any words or phrases I can come up with for graphics, a video of the process, and he wants to organise a panel discussion (which I’m dreading, but will be good for me).  Silvia has already spoken to the director of Casa Brasileira, the design museum in Sao Paulo, and he has agreed to give some sort of talk about social design, then I’m going to talk about this project…might need a couple glasses of champagne in me first!

Plus, we’ve already got a small article in one of the glossy design mags down here, Casa e Jardim, and people have been phoning and interested in buying…might I actually have come up with something that will sell?!  God I hope so…this is the point after all!  It’s all sort of hilarious because I don’t think Zeca quite knows what hit him…yesterday he told me he didn’t understand how it was possible for me to come down here for two months and already have stuff published in magazines…I don’t really get it either to be honest but I told him that we’re just getting started!
